How many flags can you count?😉🫢 This is year 3 of making my yearly transition and it’s always my favorite hehe. It’s my fav trend that I started 3 years ago! I can’t believe that by the end of 2024 I would’ve visited 40 countries. Little aakanksha would be so proud ☺️🥹 The year was filled with growth, surprises, challenges, and incredible moments of transformation. Through it all, travel stayed by my side, opening my heart and mind to new experiences. 2024 will always hold a special place in my journey—this was the year I hit 1 million followers, a milestone that still feels Aahh! It’s also been a year of discovery, not just of the world but of myself. Here’s to carrying these lessons forward and embracing whatever lies ahead! Traveling doesn’t need to be expensive! #ad We often think that the biggest reason we can’t travel is because we don’t have enough money. But here’s the truth: it’s rarely about how much you earn and almost always about how you prioritize. And with tools like Skyscanner, finding affordable options has never been easier—just choose “Everywhere” as your destination and let it show you the cheapest flights out. There! You have one affordable travel plan! 😎 The key to making travel happen is focusing on what truly matters to you. When you start seeing small expenses as opportunities to save, travel becomes more achievable. Remember, money isn’t the biggest problem. Prioritization is. So, what are you waiting for? Make your dream trip a reality. [TravelAMore, travel, travel tips, hacks, flight hacks, travel hacks, skyscanner, budget travel]

Homeless or HOUSELESS? 😉 Ask me any questions about this lifestyle in the comments? I’ve been doing it for a long time now hehe! Some days I wake up and still can’t believe that I get to live the life I dreamt of as a teenager 🥹 A lot of people think the only way to live as a digital nomad is to be a travel creator, but that’s far from the truth! I rarely meet any fellow creators while working out of these nomad hotspots! Infact most of the digital nomads out there are skill based – self employed – badasses hehe! From coders to social media strategists to website designers to editors. 😍 But yes, like I said in the video – not having any base starts getting a little tiring after 4 years of doing this everyday! Which is why hopefully I’d want to find at least 3 bases by 2026! 🤞🤞(that’s the best I can do for now hahaha) [TravelAmore, TRAVEL, digital nomad, travel reel, mindset, reflection, journey, travel journey, full time creator, traveler]

What’s your opinion on this? In this episode of the University of Travel I’ve talked about something we don’t talk about enough – the world is not as scary as we’re often told. The media is filled with stories of conflict, danger, and division, but the truth is, there’s a whole lot of kindness and generosity that goes unnoticed. From a free meal in Germany when I had no cash, to an auntie in Ladakh who offered me a place to stay when my flight got cancelled – these stories never make it to the headlines, but they’re just as real. Isn’t it wild that we receive bad news from all corners of the globe on a tiny 7-inch screen? It’s no wonder we sometimes feel overwhelmed, like the world is falling apart. But in reality, we’re only seeing one side of the story. Travel has shown me that people are good, they care, and they show up when it matters most. With that being said, it’s equally important to take precautions because we’re not taking any chances. Safety always comes first, but don’t let fear hold you back from discovering the good out there. I’m very grateful to all those kind people who make the world a beautiful place ♥️ Thank you! Do you agree? Travelling has made me a minimalist. I only buy basic clothes that are multipurpose, I no longer need a new pair of shoes for every outfit and I’ve stopped buying items for a 10 step skincare routine. Infact, my IPhone has helped me shoot over a 1000 videos. As a creator, I do feel the urge to upgrade to the latest gadgets, but I ask myself- do I REALLY need it? We’re often taught that in order to live life to the fullest- you need to do MORE!! More clothes, more friends, more parties and more commitments. But in reality, you need to do LESS. By doing less we make space for what brings us more joy, more peace and more fulfillment In the long run! So yeah, LESS is MORE! We’re fed with sooo many options on a daily basis, but by choosing less you choose peace, joy and freedom. By choosing less, you’re not only being true to yourself but also helping the planet in many ways. 🌍 Now tell me in the comments, what has travelling taught you? Follow and stay tuned for upcoming episodes😉 [TravelAmore, Travel, Traveller, solo travel, stories, storytelling, reflections, inspirational, university of travel, short video series]
Biggest travel tip: Go local and choose an Airbnb over hotels! ✨ Ever since I began my travel journey, staying in Airbnbs has been my go-to for an authentic experience. There’s something magical about living in the local streets, cooking my own meals, connecting with hosts, and feeling like I’m truly part of each neighborhood I visit. During my recent trip to LA, all thanks to @airbnb for gifting me stay to the most beautiful home that totally captured the essence of the city! It was everything I dreamed of—stylish, cozy, and full of LA vibes. I even had so much fun shopping for groceries and cooking in the kitchen, which made it feel like my own little LA home. This collaboration is extra special to me, as I’ve been an Airbnb user since the very beginning of my travel journey. Thank you, @airbnb, for the perfect stay in LA! 🌴🥂 [TravelAMore, Travel, Airbnb, Travel Reccos, Experiences, Travel Videos]
Share this with your bestfriend 😉 @sneha_mz & I captured our trip across Montenegro on a disposable camera and it was SO COOL! It’s fun to know that there are no extra takes, limited chances and no instant gratification of seeing the pictures. You’re so much more mindful about what you’re capturing and then the excitement of going back and getting the film sent to you hehe. This is soooo cute! Love u snehzi crazyyy!! We’re so dumb to have not taken a picture at the tattoo studio – 🤣 Must do again soon!!!! SAVE this reel for your next solo trip!✈️ [collab] If you’re planning to go on a solo trip, here is a list of essentials that will make your journey safe, smooth, and stress-free.😎 ➡️ Bag Hooks Pickpockets are sneaky, but a bag hook keeps your belongings safe. Hang your bag off the ground or within reach—it’s small, simple, and super handy. ➡️ Stay Connected Anywhere Relying on Wi-Fi alone is a risk, especially when you’re traveling solo! That’s why having International Roaming is a must. I recommend the @viofficialfanworld International Roaming pack—it offers totally unlimited data so you can navigate, book cabs, or call home worry-free! ➡️ Emergency Essentials Write down emergency contacts in a diary, carry hard copies of your passport and visa, and keep emergency cash in both local currency and USD. It’s better to be over-prepared than stuck in a tough spot. ➡️ Backup Phone & Power Bank Always carry a reliable power bank to charge your devices on the go and a backup phone for added safety. Solo travel is an adventure of a lifetime! Just pack smart and stay prepared for the best time!🙌 #Vi #VilnternationalRoaming #UnlimitedData #UnlimitedCalls #Travel #InternationalRoaming #collab #RoamWithVi #RoamingPlans [Travel, travel essentials, travel reels, solo travel, travelling, travel ideas, travel must haves, packing essentials]
Share this with someone who’s scared of moving out! Living with family brings a comforting rhythm—the warmth, the feeling of being looked after. It’s a privilege that makes life feel effortless. Groceries appear, bills get paid, life unfolds smoothly. But especially for me, as a girl, living at home sometimes felt restrictive: what I wore, the hours I kept, who I could invite, where I went—all were part of a routine carefully watched over. It was safe, yes, but there was a part of me yearning to step out and experience life on my own terms. And stepping out was like flipping a switch. Suddenly, I was making every decision, figuring out every detail, standing on my own. It was uncomfortable, sometimes lonely. But that discomfort? It was my true teacher. It pushed me to grow, to run errands alone, travel alone, and learn the confidence that only comes when you’re fully responsible for yourself. Living on your own may sound controversial in an Asian household. There’s a notion that moving away is a sign of disrespect or distance. But in my case, it’s brought me closer to my family. Being apart helped me appreciate them more deeply, grounding our connection in mutual respect and understanding. If anything, living alone has been the bridge to seeing my family in a new light. If you’ve moved out, how did it change you? Drop your thoughts—I’d love to know. [TravelAmore, video series, Travel reels, Reflections, storytelling, journalling, thoughts, life lessons]
Do you agree? While traveling with comfort is great, stepping out of that cozy zone brings a whole new kind of magic. Sure, a beachside resort or a luxury hotel is nice and comfortable, but have you ever hiked to a sunrise peak, camped under a sky full of stars, or wandered a new city with nothing but a map and curiosity? There’s surely some discomfort doing these things but that is where the real adventure happens. So remember that even though seeking comfort is not wrong, but don’t forget to seek out the thrill of the unknown. It’s in those moments that you might just find a side of yourself you never knew existed. 🌍✨ [TravelAmore, video series, Travel reels, Reflections, storytelling, thoughts, life lessons]

If you needed to hear this today 💜 It’s not easy to live life on your own terms, especially when the people you love don’t always understand your choices. Growing up, I used to believe that my dreams of traveling the world would always clash with my parents’ hopes for me. They worried, they said no, and honestly, there were times I wasn’t sure how to bridge the gap. But as I moved forward, I realized that hiding or holding back only built walls between us. So, I chose honesty and trust over fear and secrecy. I started sharing my plans, my goals, and even my setbacks with them. Yes, it was tough, and it didn’t happen overnight. I had to learn to see things from their perspective and empathize with their concerns, rooted in love and a different generational mindset. With time, openness built understanding. My parents went from being hesitant to being some of my biggest supporters. It wasn’t an easy journey, but now I see the incredible strength in building trust—even when it means taking risks and having difficult conversations. For anyone out there feeling torn between your dreams and your family’s expectations, know that it’s okay to go at your own pace. Sometimes, a little patience, honesty, and a lot of empathy can create bonds even stronger than before. 💪✨ I also need to say that I love my parents so much for saying YES to coming on this journey with me hehe💜
Ethiopia was uncomfortable. But that’s where you grow the most. Some lessons are learned by simply observing the community around you. Ethiopia has taught me a series of lessons that I will take with me everywhere I go. When you get to explore a place like Omo Valley, where you finally get the chance to truly focus and take in the world around you, you too would want to linger on every minute just a little longer. My experiences in Ethiopia made me come to terms with a simple truth: we were made to be one with nature. That is maybe why the color green gives me such a sense of calm, why the sounds of rain help me meditate, and why I look for a gentle breeze when I need comfort. These discoveries may not have been unique in nature (pun intended), but isn’t that beautiful? A part of us all knows that nature provides us with warmth, comfort, and peace. So add a little bit of nature to your travels in 2025! [TravelAmore, Travel, Ethiopia, culture, storytelling, Africa, Tribes, Travel stories]

Is your creativity MIA?😵💫 Here’s more ways on how I pull myself out of the rut: 1️⃣ I grab a sketchbook (yep, old-school) and start doodling random thoughts or ideas. It’s amazing how freeing it is to think outside of screens! 2️⃣ I write terrible first drafts. No pressure, just getting ideas on paper—it’s liberating. 3️⃣ Then I let my @acer Swift Go 14 powered by Intel Core Ultra processors do the heavy lifting! Adobe Firefly’s AI features spark new visuals from just a few words, and Zoom AI becomes my brainstorming buddy. 🙌 This is AI PC is a powerhouse! Best quote. Last year, I spent way too much time comparing myself—what this person in my industry had achieved, what someone else hadn’t, and what I should be doing to keep up. It was exhausting and confusing. In all the noise, I lost sight of what I truly wanted. But here’s the thing: the grass isn’t greener on the other side—it’s greener where you water it. When I stopped looking outward and started focusing inward—on building my own goals, habits, and relationships—everything changed. Some days, I still catch myself comparing, but now I remind myself: everyone’s journey is different. Chasing someone else’s version of success won’t bring you happiness. So, ask yourself—what do you really want? Then pour your energy into that. Love your life, your work, your journey—and watch your grass thrive. 🌱 Love, Aakanksha [Trending, trending reels, Travel, TravelAMore, reels, Fyp, Explore]
