Please take a moment to watch and listen to this highly compelling message from a young Palestinian journalist, in an earnest appeal to the world to acknowledge the desperate plight of the GENOCIDE that has been largely ignored by the international media.
How utterly shameful and bizarre that Western media have ignored a GENOCIDE that has been playing out for almost 15 months in plain sight!
I cannot understand how it must feel to be in a profession whose purpose is to cover world news – but doesn’t. I can only speculate that Western journalists must have been given orders from ‘the top’ or threatened in some way.
I can appreciate that journalists might be afraid of losing their jobs, but so far I haven’t heard of any whistleblowers who’ve said words to that effect.
The Guardian newspaper has been one of the few exceptions…(Shout out to the formidable @owenjonesjourno !)
Is their ANYBODY out there who can explain exactly what’s going on??!! Have we completely LOST any semblance of a free press?
Has the profession completely lost even a shred of moral conscience??!!
