While here, the local Bedouin people slaughtered a goat for us.
At first I thought there was no chance in hell I would try it, but then I thought about how American meat is factory farmed in inhumane conditions, raised on GMO feed, and pumped with hormones, and I had to check myself.
They use all of the goat, including the skin, to make drums.
Living among these trees and with the Bedouin people is a core memory.
