Jessica Yellin Instagram – Small fires are cropping up all over LA county. There are posts on social media from residents claiming they’ve seen arsonists setting fires. This is the first time LA law enforcement confirmed at least one fire is suspected to be started intentionally. The Kenneth Fire has burned 1000 acres and is not contained, though the LAFD says they’ve halted its forward progression for now.
There are reports from Angelenos theat they’ve spotted individuals trying to set fire to houses in their community; that gangs are setting fires to can force evacuations so they can rob the homes in the area. Those reports are not confirmed.
