Sepsis is a full blown body infection due to bacteria. As the bacteria takes over organs shut down. The lungs fill with fluid.
Mine was caused by exposing a small wound on my foot to the elements…the ocean and swimming pools.
I didn’t know the symptoms of sepsis and wasn’t aware of what I was dealing with or what to look for. When I finally got medical care it was almost too late.
