Peppermint Instagram – WHAT SYSTEM DO YOU THINK WE ARE UNDER? Interestingly the hashtags used to described the themes in this video have been blocked. I gagged. I think the word most people in America would use to describe the country is capitalist. Which is obviously true, but there is a difference in describing an economic system versus a system of government which can describe where citizens stand in relation to the government and one another versus the systems of control that the is exerted over the citizens, that system of control can come from an elected government, a monarchy or royalty, a dictator, a religious figure, or billionaires. How would you describe the system of power in our country currently? Is this the type of democracy you learned in school? Did you learn about other systems of power?
