Being that it’s Halloween week and MY BIRTHDAY we are thrilled to present this horror classic remade by Director David Lee Fisher starring the legendary @actordougjones and yours truly.
The talent and playful spirit that went into this film is so dear to me. The opportunity came to Doug and I at the end of our long run together on Falling Skies. It was Doug who pitched me to David to take on the role of “Ellen” and enter into a world I have literally only ever dreamed of.
Part of the magic behind NOSFERATU: A Symphony Of Horror is how every scene digitally mixes us new actors and dialogue with the backdrops of the same scene from the original silent film. We performed in front of a green screen, and were lit to match the same set Max Schrek played on in 1922.
The film also stars @emrhyscooper @msjoelyfisher @jaxonturner and Edgar Alan Poe. The stunning hair and make up was designed by @momeinhart and the unique cinematography is thanks to @christopherjonduddy.
