We are celebrating the film’s recent release @appletv @amazonprime and all major streaming platforms. It also happens to be Halloween AND my birthday week so if you need an excuse to give yourself an inspiring night out, those are two good ones.
Nosferatu stars the legendary @actordougjones who will be there in person for the Q & A along with @msjoelyfisher, Edgar Alan Poe @jaxonturner our outstanding special effects makeup artist @momeinhart and most importantly the filmmaker David Lee Fisher!
These Monday Film & Music Salons co-hosted by @blkbrdfilms @jamesaaronoliver @cheshiremoonproductions & @darbygaellehannon have been an exquisite opportunity to meet fellow artists and film lovers. Thank you to everyone who has been coming out.
The doors open for music, drinks, and incredible food at 7pm featuring the film’s symphonic composer @ebanschletter.
This film was such a special project to have been invited into and one I’m excited to finally be able to share. Doug Jones and I were working on Falling Skies when he approached me to join him in bringing David’s vision of Nosferatu to life. Every scene digitally mixed the new actors and dialogue with the backdrops of the scenes from the original silent film. We performed in front of a green screen and were lit to match the same set Max Schrek played on in 1922.
Fun fact: I was actually pregnant with Alice while shooting this film.
