Jour 3 – Kibuye la belle 🩵 1/2/3/4 Sur le chemin je me suis arrêtée au foyer de la charité de Ruhondo (lieu de retraite où mes parents allaient se reposer quand j’étais petite). Ce fut un plaisir de revoir toutes les sœurs et le père Fabien, qui ont gentiment accepté d’héberger un rucher/école @ofapidologie dont je suis marraine (fondé par Thierry Dufresne) qui permet d’étudier le comportement des abeilles face aux changements climatiques et d’offrir un apprentissage des métiers de l’apiculture. Ce lieu est magique! Merci pour l’accueil! 🐝 Puis direction le lac Kivu pour une nuit à l’hôtel @cleokivuhotel qui a certainement une des plus belles vues du pays. Un panorama assez dingue qui, au petit matin, nous offre les chants harmonieux des piroguiers revenus de leur pêche nocturne. This place is magical! Thank you for the welcome! 🐝 Then head to Lake Kivu for a night at the @cleokivuhotel hotel which certainly has one of the most beautiful views in the country. A pretty crazy panorama which, in the early morning, offers us the harmonious songs of the canoeists returning from their night fishing. Jour 2 – La montagne des gorilles 🦍 Il n’y a pas un voyage que je fais au Rwanda sans rendre visite à mes potes les gorilles! De retour dans cet hôtel que j’adore @staysambora accueillie par un groupe traditionnel, je redécouvre son écrin de verdure et ses lodges « cocooning » délicatement rénovés pour une halte avant un trek bien sportif dans la montagne Sabyinyo. Murakoze mwese! —— Day 2 – Gorillas Mountain 🦍 There is not a trip that I make to Rwanda without visiting my friends the gorillas! Back in this hotel that I love @staysambora and welcomed by a traditional group, I rediscover its green setting and its freshly renovated “cocooning” lodges for a stopover before a very sporty trek in the Sabyinyo mountain.
