#la area… Our thoughts, prayers and love to all affected and hope that the fires are contained asap. Been watching videos of flames 🔥 bursting into otherwise quiet neighbourhoods and hearing residents describe the apocalyptic atmosphere. Scary. Hear of fires like this in forests that seem removed from reality in some ways ( but aren’t, thoughts of the animals suffering in those situations is so upsetting too) but this is right in the heart of a bustling movie centre, seems surreal and reiterates the vulnerability and fragility of life.
