Admittedly after fab @coldplay last ngt it was a slight struggle getting up for @tatamummarathon but I did and ran as I have all 20 years except the two I was pregnant and it was fabbb as always…Super atmosphere and #running for amazing causes @cpaaindia @teachforindia @cuddlesfoundation . Kudos all cheerers, organisers, us #runners and everyone! I only do the #dreamrun just 6 km so not a major distance but as I say for me the consistency and doing it each time has been part of the marathon experience! Thank you our beautiful Bombay the spirit on the streets is electric and apologies for my squeals haaha! @procamintl Also met dear regular friends there too Pix and vids of concert coming up soon! Taking a moment to pause, soak in the sun and say hello.. I learnt the phrase #carpediem when I was at school in Italy at UWCAD so it seemed apt to mention it with this photo that our older son Zen took of me in Rome. The Latin phrase used by Roman poet Horace means to ‘pluck the day’ or seize the day and moment. Live in the present. Make the most of today. Seemed apt for this picture hence the ramble. @roopaksaluja posted the pic in a story and so I was reminded of it and also of the philosophy. In this fast paced world, often important to stop and think and remind ourselves what say? Also one of my favourite paintings is #dali ‘s Young Woman in the window so yep haaha think I was inspired by that in my choice of pose and the light cooperated! I just wanna say Thank You 🙏🏼. Yep a literal track again haaha but truly it says it right so used it. Woke to our kids my Mum @roopaksaluja and our help having put little decorations around the house on my birthday. These gold streamers on our bedroom door and balloons (one peculiarly shaped so guessing the Zepto order wasn’t sure it was for a Mum’s birthday haaha) and I was sooo touched. Then and there at midnight my birthday was made. A little kind gesture from my family and the loveliest messages and wishes from so many family and friends, so many of all of you and I am so grateful. I am a very simple person. No big parties, no huge presents, it’s the little things that seem to move me most. We all enjoy parties and presees now and then I don’t deny but as I get older, not sure about wiser haaha, but the truth is cliched as it sounds one values the little things. So my regular line of wishes for us all to stay healthy, happy, safe, loved, kind, successful and good people forever touch wood😀🧿❤️ is truly what I realise hold the most value to me. Everyone is special, everyone has a birthday and while I am not a big birthday person and often get nervous to plan anything on the day, this year just a relaxed normal day and being with family and a few besties and all your amazing messages made me realise us humans celebrating each other, even if specifically on one day, is so moving and makes one feel so special and loved. So thank you. And to all of you please know on your birthday and everyday, you are very valued and on that specific day when people remind you, it is really touching so thanks all and thanks social media as we are all in touch thanks to you! #gratitude Have a super rest of #Sunday all. #staysafe

Adorable little #owl that was being attacked by kites in our building garden…My Mum saw it & we rushed to rescue it and put it in this box. Thought it was a baby, as smaller than the palm of a hand, so didn’t want to take it far in case the Mum or Dad were around. Called fab Chintan @chintanadani.jeevdaya whose number @topdogsalon_paw.naturale had given me earlier for another #birdrescue and he had been super prompt and helpful. Once again I was so impressed as within the hour he fetched little Owlie and took her / him to his rescue centre and reassured us that once the injury is treated the owl will be released and preferably near here so he / she reunites with his / her family. He also told us this is a fully grown Spotted owl. Apparently they only grow to this size. In that hour a few kids came to visit lil Owlie. Was hoping he / she would still be around so our kids would meet him / her too but in school. I mainly work from home and sit by the window. And once in a while like this there’s some action outside and I feel like I am on a safari, yep in bustling Bombay or #neighbourhoodwatch haaha! Get well soon Owlie 🦉❤️🙏🏼 #staysafe
Not a fully #desi crew more a #mixed one but I like the track so used it thanks to our kids… #family farm time with Gaaga, what our kids call my Mum. It started when they were little as Naana and instead of Naani, given she is English, Gaaga was the name our kids gave their Granny and Lady Gaaga it continues to be haaha! Gratitude for this peaceful (though with #teenagers who ofcourse we adore, and they love each other but the squabbles and discussions and our attempts at dealing with some #parenting stuff definitely added some fireworks to the tranquility haaha, but necessary conversations me thinks and some we sometimes brush under the carpet in the fast paced city. Any other parents of #teens relate? Some things one just says we will deal with anon given how busy everyone is, but in times when time is available one addresses.) Apologies for the ramble, suffice to say the #reel is a little summation. I am not a big New Years person as in I genuinely feel each day is a new day and an opportunity to live life to the full and be and try to be the best versions of ourselves so I don’t really think things change when the clock strikes 12 on NY Eve, do you? But this annual week or so of quality family time at this time of year (we ofcourse try and have regular quality family time) but this time in nature with our dogs, friends, family, sport, runs, walks, football, golf, yoga and more and just slowing one’s pace. Listening to the birds, appreciating the amazing flowers and veg, special kudos to Mum and maali Vithal, is really energising. Much as we would complain as kids about being in the middle of nowhere, being admist creepy crawlies in a jungle, we now appreciate it all so much and our kids I know do too even if they still winge a bit about the long drive. So thank you Mum and Dad for introducing this into our lives as babies and making it a big part of our lives. Grateful. I think most families have their unwind place. Whether near or far, simple or fancy. It isn’t even just about the place but about the #mindset and a beautiful place. Zipping it now and going for a runnn! Have a super day all ❤️🌳🧿⚽️🏌️♂️ #staysafe

Devastating about the #wildfires engulfing the #la area… Our thoughts, prayers and love to all affected and hope that the fires are contained asap. Been watching videos of flames 🔥 bursting into otherwise quiet neighbourhoods and hearing residents describe the apocalyptic atmosphere. Scary. Hear of fires like this in forests that seem removed from reality in some ways ( but aren’t, thoughts of the animals suffering in those situations is so upsetting too) but this is right in the heart of a bustling movie centre, seems surreal and reiterates the vulnerability and fragility of life. Relatives, friends and everyone there and anywhere affected by hardship, #staysafe
