say hello.. I learnt the phrase #carpediem when I was at school in Italy at UWCAD so it seemed apt to mention it with this photo that our older son Zen took of me in Rome.
The Latin phrase used by Roman poet Horace means to ‘pluck the day’ or seize the day and moment. Live in the present. Make the most of today.
Seemed apt for this picture hence the ramble.
@roopaksaluja posted the pic in a story and so I was reminded of it and also of the philosophy. In this fast paced world, often important to stop and think and remind ourselves what say?
Also one of my favourite paintings is #dali ‘s Young Woman in the window so yep haaha think I was inspired by that in my choice of pose and the light cooperated!
