This moment requires a collective defiance. If we don’t stand up for each other they will divide and conquer. The Democratic Party has clearly communicated that they are the party of freedom and equality for all. (**offer does not include Palestinians, trans people, Black people, disabled folks, and does not apply to bodily autonomy) The reason we ALL lost is because the party most of you were counting on all had folks within their base as well as their ranks who would vote in favor of anti trans, anti-immigrant, anti-abortion policies. You had folks who feel you have to break a few thousand eggs to make an omelette. So they were ok with homes being broken up by ICE under Obama & Biden. They were ok with banning trans people from public bathrooms & sports. Ok with building that wall. Ok with g-side. And it’s ALL not OK.

I don’t “follow” that many people, because as a Black trans woman I have learned everyone is not safe and will gag you with their politics. But I have learned thru being in online community with other Black women, queer and trans folks, who I should include in my personally curated community feed. I am always looking to include more Brillaint Black & brown voices, disabled disrupters, Neurospicy folks on the spectrum, queer & trans folks into my feed. So tag anyone you think i should be following!
Listen and listen good folks… You’re not going to have many options if you don’t learn to start weening yourself off of consuming at the cost of human lives and the planet. Imma need you to START somewhere. I’m not asking for perfection. I’m asking that you start to practice divesting from systems & companies that are extracting everything they can from you, including the price of your life into their bottom lines while evading any form of accountability to the communities that make them rich.
