Angelica Ross Instagram – Kicking off 2025 with a bang! 💥 🎉 My short film Deep Dish Dimples is not only premiering at the @filmindependent First Look Screening on Thursday January 9, 2025, but it’s also been selected for this years Slamdance Film Festival!
This is my first project of the year, and it’s one that resonates deeply for me. A psychological thriller about a trans man who, after calling his best friend to help bury a body, finds himself haunted by his past in ways he never expected. It’s a journey of self-reckoning, survival, and ultimately, healing.
I had the honor of teaming up with the incomparable @angelicaross, in a story beautifully written by Nova Cypress Black, skillfully directed by @alexx.villarreal Manuel Villarreal, and brought to life through the incredible producing of @josh_olaolu Josh Olaoluwa and the Project Involve crew. This team poured their hearts into every moment of this film, and I’m so proud of what we’ve created together.
