Volunteering at City Harvest’s Food Rescue Center was the highlight of my week. We packed carrots into 1,805 family sized bags to be distributed to our NYC neighbors. @cityharvestnyc @feedingamerica #SomethingForTheSoul Through a network of 200 partner food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs, #FeedingAmerica helped provide 5.3 billion meals to tens of millions of people facing hunger last year. #CityHarvest is New York’s first and largest food rescue organization, helping to feed millions who struggle to put meals on their tables. Over the past 40 years, they have rescued and distributed over one billion pounds of food to people across the five boroughs. 🤍
