We are in what people refer to as the “disaster after the disaster”
The EPA currently has a toxic fire debris sorting site located next to our threatened coastline. The site is next to a watershed and with rain forecasted runoff into the Santa Monica Bay could cause a serious public health risk and irrevocable ecological harm.
Topanga creek was not the EPAs choice of site as it does not meet requirements, local officials are blocking a safer choice of site location.
