Dana Alexa Instagram – The energy in this class was unreal. Beginner classes are such a special way for new dancers to start their journey and advanced dancers to dive back into their basics and hone skills and performance. I gave everyone in class the task of trying to connect this piece back to loss in their own lives and to try to communicate the duality that deep love and extreme grief often embody, sometimes simultaneously, especially in the face of the loss of a loved one.
We laughed, we cried, we alchemized and we definitely danced ❤️
