Debbie Matenopoulos Instagram – In case you missed it my incredibly talented @theviewabc sister @sherrishowtv had me on her amazing daytime talk show to promote my new cookbook “Greekish” and I could not have had a better time. I have been on a lot of shows over the years and while they’ve all been great, this one felt extra special. From the minute I stepped into the building everyone was beyond warm and welcoming and kind and happy to be there and just overall at ease. I wanted to take a minute to point this out because believe it or not it’s not always like that in our business. Although, our job is to give information, have fun and entertain the audience, unfortunately it’s not always the same behind the scenes. People can sometimes be unnecessarily rude, unpleasant and snippy, which can make your time on set miserable. I always find it strange when people act like that, given we are all so fortunate to be playing in the “entertainment sandbox”. When there is a stressed vibe it usually stems from the top of the food chain and trickles down. When people are happy, it also comes from the top. And in this case everyone at @sherrishowtv was beyond happy. So thank you to @sherrieshepherd @jawnmurray @the1fwynn @sio_nyc @joelle7877 @platanospowers @danfitztv @jaronoff6 for leading by example and creating such a magical place.
