This in and of itself isn’t a problem, but the delusion that these ideas are black in origin is evident of how distorted mainstream/ internet origin understandings of social justice became !
This was never about “placating white people”, it was about wanting to establish something that worked, it was about wanting us to win ! It was about reconnecting with the #blackradicaltradition which was being obscured by an anti racist tradition that was white liberal in its origins although being practiced and defended by many non white people !!!!
