Laverne Cox Instagram – I had the honor and great pleasure to work with my long time collaborator @sequoiaemmanuelle on this truly inspired editorial for @numero_netherlands. Sequoia set out the vision and concept. Then Lisa Smith Craig @lscstyling brought forth the pull of LIFE! literally through the fires gurl! Gurl! She Styled the ish out of this shoot with a few pieces from my archive that worked with the vision. Sequoia’s team constructed a beautiful set to help tell the story. Then @tayriverabeauty on makeup and @kiyahwrigh on hair came so hard that they’ve inspired a new beauty era for me that I didn’t realize I wanted or needed. So much love creativity and inspiration at every level of this production. Thank you @numero_netherlands for this amazing opportunity.
