From our kitchen to yours: Eton Mess, a messy & delicious Christmas tradition. 🎄🐽🤍 ETON MESS RECIPE INGREDIENTS: 1. Almond Meringue x 5 (We get ours from Gaylord Bakery Churchgate) 2. Strawberries x 500 gms 3. Vanilla Ice Cream x 5 scoops 4. Sugar x 2 tsp RECIPE: *serves 5 *you’ll need 5 dessert bowls 1. The night before, cut the strawberries into small squares and mix in the sugar. Refrigerate overnight. 2. Right before serving. Roughly crush 1 meringue in each bowl. 3. Add a few spoons of strawberries on top of the crushed meringues. 4. Add 1 scoop of ice cream to each bowl. 5. Serve. 6. Vanilla Protein Powder – 1 scoop 2. First fruit of choice – 100 grams 3. Second Fruit of choice – 100 grams 4. Greek Yogurt/Low Fat Dahi – 100 grams 5. Milk of choice – 100 ml 6. Chia Seeds/Psyllium Husk – 10 grams/1 tbs 7. Walnuts – 1 half OPTIONAL: You can freeze the fruit overnight or add ice if you want the smoothie extra cold. NOTE: I have been using only strawberries since it’s strawberry season and I’m obsessed. RECIPE: *serves 1 1. In a blender, add the protein powder, both fruits, yogurt/dahi, milk, chia seeds/psyllium husk and blend well. 2. Pour into a glass. 3. Crush the walnut, on top. 4. 🥒🥕 DAHI DIP WITH VEGGIE STICKS 🥕🥒 Servings: 2-4 Ingredients: 1. Dahi x 500grams 2. Carrot x 2 3. Green Cucumber x 2 4. Garlic Cloves x 2 5. Spring Onion x 2 teaspoons 6. Salt to taste. Recipe: 1. Hang the dahi using a muslin cloth/strainer of your choice. 2. While the dahi is hanging, peel the carrots. 3. Cut the cucumbers and carrots into small sticks and refrigerate. 4. Finely chop the garlic and spring onion. 5. Once you are happy with the consistency of the dahi, empty it into a bowl and mix in the garlic, spring onion and salt. 6. Eat up !!
