Rachel made history for her role on Mudbound, becoming the first woman nominated for an Academy Award for Best Cinematography. Having her hand at lensing features like Black Panther and Fruitvale Station, Rachel’s artistry shines with raw honesty and profound depth.
Her latest film, The Fire Inside, tells the inspiring true story of Claressa Shields, the first American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in boxing. The film follows Claressa’s journey from Flint, Michigan, to the top of her sport, with the support of her coach, Jason Crutchfield.
