Mugs Galore !! I love Mugs, often bought to cheer me up or make me laugh, with most having a little story behind them. ‘Occasionally’ I have a turf out, but not often and those I say goodbye to will be chipped or broken. Are you the same – I’m hoping so!! Enjoy this post Mark 🤪 ♥️

Can’t believe I have another cold !! Only upside is I go down, but recover quite quickly. Don’t believe in going to a chemist and wasting money on a pile of ‘stuff’ that largely makes no difference to the length of what ever has penetrated my force field. Recently been to @randox_health recommended by @hum2n so know all my biomarkers (now) are in a good place – Fill you in with my discoveries in another post. Turmeric Curcumin Quercetine Black Pepper Vit D3 & K2 and all Electrolytes are all part of my daily life through supplementation but reap as much goodness as I can thought good clean food. So when anything hits; Stay indoors Steam Paracetamol only if needed Warm throat soothing herbal drinks Water, water, water C, Zinc & Lactoferrin (see @leapfrogremedies ) Obvs my own BALM 6 to keep my skin from drying out and especially my lips and nose. Olive oil on toast instead of butter is a game changer with……… Marmalade! I’m a fan of @zoe Podcasts, give them a try if you haven’t already, they’re packed with sound health advice from top experts including their own. Host is Jonathan Wolf, who’s not a medical expert, so asks the questions we would ourselves. I was listening to one about lowering cholesterol which included easy swops you can make. Co-founder @tim.spector who’s a big advocate of the mediterranean diet said. “Have you ever tried Marmalade on Toast but swopping the butter for olive oil?” I’m a Brit, marmalade on toast its one of my morning comfort foods. If it’s raining, looking dull or I’m out of sorts I can make the virtual sun shine with marmalade on toast and a fine cup of tea so obviously sceptical. Would you believe it, olive oil is now my preference – Wahoo !! Not sure how this works on your Warburtons white loaf, but on my fave Sourdough or Rye its delicious. FYI – I drink a shot of good quality extra virgin olive oil every day and swear it’s why I don’t ache @citizensofsoil is a good one you can buy it in Waitrose and they do refills. BTW this marmalade has come from the kitchen of Interior Designer @tomleek92 – Thank you so much Tom its delicious.
Hotel Life !! – What do you take home with you ? Outside of the odd biscuit notepad & pencil I always take the slippers for a bit of home foot pampering. My BODY 3 @byantheaturner gets slathered on my feet I slip into them and pad around while my tired tootsies and heels get softer then in the washer they go. Don’t ask me why my mate takes loo rolls, maybe she needs to make something out of them 😜🧻 I’ll give you one guess who it is 😈😂 @bargainhunt_uk total addict 👌

I often talk about nourishing your lashes and brows under the heading ‘look after what you’ve got’ and I’m religious about it, but if you want to make them grow you need a lash serum – specifically the @uklash serum! There are many on the market, some at crazy prices and with high amounts of activating chemicals in them. FYI UKLASH use a very minimum amount of prostaglandin (growth activator) without compromising the products effectiveness and all approved by both UK and EU legislation so completely safe although they also offer two other serums that areprostaglandin free. Remember this isn’t going in your eyes just on the lash line, do it with a magnifying mirror for accuracy because you don’t want to waste a drop. Some people say it works within 4 weeks, for me I’d say into the 5th but once you have your new exciting length and thickness (you’ll know when you’ve got there) V easy to maintain with a tube lasting 3 months so more cost effective going forward. I always use a lash curler, dye my lashes once a month and have a thin line tattooed across my top lid for extra no makeup definition.
