This play is a marvel of ingenious writing, full of well drawn characters, stuffed with humor and pathos.
I don’t understand why this play isn’t done more outside of Ireland, as it is a true classic! Few younger people I have spoken with have read it or seen or even heard of it, which breaks my heart. It should be done in the West End and Broadway regularly, not to mention regional theatres, college campuses, high schools. It is, I think, my favorite play. It is my heart. And Juno herself is my muse fueled by an undercurrent of love channeled from my mother who died several years ago but who lives in me during these performances.
It is truly one the Great Plays.❤️💔❤️🇮🇪
