The guidelines I am talking about here are the 2022 Menopause Society hormone therapy guidelines. I don’t know of any randomized clinical trial that has been published since these guidelines came out that refutes them. And as I have mentioned before, the dementia data was covered in detail at the 2024 Menopause Society meeting and the conclusion is that they stand.
Wanting a hypothesis to be true isn’t science, no matter how much it supports your business model!
But be mindful of the mysterious “they.”
