I am honored that MARLEE MATLIN: NOT ALONE ANYMORE will have its European premiere on March 16th as the Closing Night film for the 27th Thessaloniki International Documentary Film Festival @filmfestivalgr. More information to come about the screening – a limited number of tickets will be available. I’m very excited to share the film with you all at this special festival!

At the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, we made history with the FIRST EVER Deaf panel moderated by Motion Light Lab founder and director Melissa Malzkuhn with Deaf directors, writers, producers, Shoshannah Stern and Nyle DiMarco, and the Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin at @theimpactlounge. This hour long conversation explored the hidden contributions Deaf people made in shaping our society, the civil rights, and how important it is to tell our stories in our own voice, the innovations we are making in cinema, and the experience of creating two groundbreaking documentaries: Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore, and Deaf President Now! The panel was insightful, emotional, and brilliant all at once.
