Viva Bianca Instagram – This is me today. My car broke down and my hayfever is at a 10. European cars a nice but expensive to fix (I was warned I was warned). I’m tired from solo parenting, parenting a neurodiverse child and 3 nights of less than 8 hours sleep – because you know sleep is essential but self discipline is a thing. Also I’m having short hair regret because long hair is objectively lovely and even though I have the vantage point to accept that ‘it’ll grow back’ I’m just sad. And I left a beloved necklace at a beach house and suspect I may never get it back. It’s making me reflect on the trail of jewelry I’ve left around the world – including the family heirloom earrings I was given on my wedding night. Sounds poetic but actually it’s just making me feel sadder. So I’m wearing my daughter’s homemade jewelry to cheer myself up which is having mild therapeutic effects.
