This isn’t easy, and it never will be easy. To accept and appreciate what once I hated, you hated as a thirteen year old girl.
Be it the first acne mark, be the first time you noticed a stretch mark, the time you started noticing things on your body that make your face frown, and everyone kept suggesting creams and treatments for it.
The only treatment I need , you need, we need is, the way we treat ourselves, to love after hating my body, to say I know this is my body and my skin and I’m nothing but proud of myself for seeing me for ME. :’)
