Raja Kumari Instagram – For the rockstar that Raja Kumari is, a lesser-known truth is that she has a heart as soft as malmal in monsoon—delicate, comforting, and full of grace.
Juloos was the biggest vision we’d ever dared to bring to life—bigger than anything we’d rehearsed or known before. And with that came inevitable chaos, slip-ups, and learnings. On the day of her shoot, one of our makeup teams couldn’t reach her on time, but in true Raja spirit, she stepped in like the queen she is—doing her own hair, makeup, and beauty prep with elegance and calm. When I went to apologize, she simply smiled and told me to focus on the set, promising she’d give more than her best.
She did—effortlessly. With every look, every shot, every frame, she gave her all. There were quiet hugs and tears of empathy. There was strength, encouragement, and unshakable belief. We had only just met, but I felt deeply seen and supported by her—spiritually connected in the truest sense as artists on a shared journey.
Raja, thank you—for your magic, your generosity, and your enormous heart. I hope we come together again to create something even more extraordinary.
