@danwnews travelled to Canada to find out how initial restrictions on young drivers after passing their test have seen the number of fatalities and serious injuries drop by 80%
I spoke to Sharron Huddleston and Dr Ian Greenwood whose daughters Caitlin (18yrs) and Alice (12yrs) were killed in road collisions – inexperience behind the wheel caused their deaths and they believe if the UK had GDLs they would still be with them today.
The Government have discussed and dismissed this idea several times…but these families are not giving up, not with so many lives at stake.
