“لم تكن بدايتي سهلة، لكنني اجتهدت وبذلت كل ما في وسعي لتحقيق حلمي”، بهذه الكلمات بدأت الفنانة شذى حسون حديثها معنا، مستذكرة الطريق الطويل الذي قطعته للوصول إلى مكانتها اليوم. لم يكن المشوار خاليًا من التحديات، بل على العكس، تطلّب منها الكثير من الجهد والإصرار لتثبت نفسها في عالم الفن. تميزت حسون بقدرتها على أداء ألوان غنائية متعددة، حيث غنّت باللهجات اللبنانية والمصرية والمغربية وحتى السودانية، لكنها دائمًا ما تعود إلى جذورها الفنية، مؤكدة: “أعتز بهويتي العراقية والمغربية، وأرى أن من واجبي تقديم الفن العراقي والمغربي بروح جديدة ومختلفة. نشأتي بين ثقافتين غنيتين منحتني القدرة على المزج بينهما بأسلوب خاص أحبه الجمهور، ولهذا أسعى دائمًا إلى تقديم شيء متفرد.” مسيرة شذى حسون ليست مجرد قصة نجاح، بل حكاية شغف واجتهاد متواصل، حيث استطاعت أن تصنع لنفسها بصمة مميزة في الساحة الغنائية العربية.
