How embarrassing…for them. Because seriously, what are they thinking? The fact that there are men out there who still think it’s okay to talk to women staring down like that, is disgusting and laughable! Basic human dignity and mutual respect, because it’s a prerequisite for a civilised society. Before we even talk feminism, can we at least get these basics right? #psychology #mentalhealthmatters #humanmind #realtalk #feminism #feminist #realmen
Accepting that you have been wrong requires a lot of self awareness, confidence and maturity. Not all people (and by thay i mean most people), find it easy to accept and apologise. They would run away from their own feelings, make excuses, shift the blame, downplay your suffering and even avoid you. If you dig deeper, it’s most commonly happens because a lot of people have been raised to attach ‘shame’ with having done something wrong. Psychologically, to accept that you’ve been wrong can trigger that deep feeling of ‘shame’. That’s what they are trying to avoid. (Of course, each person is different though, and there could be other reasons). Here’s your daily reminder to not internalize that blame, or wonder if you’re in the wrong. This one’s on them. #humanpsychology #psychology #relationships #relationshippsychology #humanrelationships #redflags #dailythoughts #dailyreminder
An intelligent person never believes these rumors blindly. Rumors about women (or for that matter even men), usually come from those who feel rejected or insecure. Rumors are generally exaggerated versions of someone’s reality in their minds and words, with very little or no truth. #psychology #humanmind #smilewithprachi #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthmatters #realtalk #rumors #gossip [Psychology, relationships, human mind, rumors]
Why they gossip about you? Say mean things behind your back? Psychologically there can be a lot of reasons: In most cases, this is because they are jealous or dislike you and need others to think the same way about you. This could stem from their own insecurity or their own subconscious need to have someone verify what they think because they lack confidence in their own capabilities of understanding the situation. Or they know they are wrong and their mind is looking for someone to tell them that they aren’t. That is not to say that this is always the only reason. Other reasons include: – That they sense danger and are trying to alert others. – It could also be because they are trying to understand the situation (on which case what may look like gossip could be more of a genuine attempt to help, or be there for you etc. – A lot of people are habitual gossipers, not meaning any harm or realising the impact of their actions. It could simply be their way of connecting with others or making small talk. (While innocent, It’s still very detrimental to your reputation though if bad things are said) There could be other reasons why a person might be gossiping. It’s also possible that they aren’t actually gossiping, but it appears so from what you have heard as word of mouth. In psychology, it’s always crucial to see things objectively of course as each case scenario could be different. #psychology #mentalhealthmatters #humanmind #smilewithprachi #realtalk #relationshipquotes #relationships #relationshipproblems
Children making sacrifices for parents is something that seldom gets talked about. Giving up their dream jobs, marrying as per the parent’s choice… So many children give up all of their earnings to fulfil the responsibilities of a younger sibling or the parents, So many quietly put up with rude relatives just because the parents like these relatives, So many do that, silently, quietly, without ever telling anyone. It’s just expected and considered the ‘bare minimum’ you can do for your family. Who is asking them about their feelings? Who is talking about how much it hurts?
Sometimes you can just tell that someone is a hater even if they’re being nice. Something to do with their weird toxic energy maybe?
People who have more than you can still be jealous of you. They see your potential and realise how will you can succeed. Psychologically, this can often trigger their ‘scarcity’ mindset where they worry that it might take something away from them. Another common fear can be that you will steal the spotlight. Can you relate?
When you act like a victim in a problem you created, remember, Good people also get tired of being good. If you are someone who is constant trying to take advantage of them, if you aren’t there to reciprocate or are simply ungrateful, don’t be surprised when they draw their boundaries and eventually move away. This doesn’t get talked about enough. #humanpsychology #relationships #humanmind #beinggood #realtalk #smilewithprachi
If you’re spending too much time showing the world how much fun you’re having, you can’t possibly be having real fun. ◾️Psychologically: For most people (not all), this is a behavior primarily led by a need for social validation and/or to conform to the expectations created by media/peers etc. These expectations mostly revolve around how one should be living their lives, and submitting these posts as a form of ‘social’ proof in a subconscious attempt to ‘belong’ to the same community that impresses you so much. Diving deeper, this is usually a result of feelings of inadequacy or a fear of missing out. On some cases, this could simply be an expression of how seriously one feels about photography or the importance one places on capturing memories (as a part of subconscious belief that having memories would actually enhance the experiences for them). This is rare, but possible. ◾️Why it is detrimental? While spending a little time capturing memories and posting on social media can actually be healthy, and even fun… Spending too much time doing this prevents one from getting a mental break from digital media. As humans we need to experience the world outside of of phones and gadgets. We need human connections, being present in nature. ‘Being in the moment’ is extremely crucial for all, as a grounding practice and centeting the thought processes, to help feel more aligned. This is in fact the basis of meditation practices and often the first step of learning for many in therapy sessions. Without this, mental Confusion, anxiety, loneliness, depression etc could be very real possibilities. ◾️In conclusion Enjoy your cameras, buy know when to put them down..remember, self care starts with putting your mental health first, by putting your natural needs first. Don’t deny yourself that for a few seconds of social validation. #indianinfluencer #humanpsychology #psychology #humanmind #Realtalk #dailythoughts #dailyvlog #dailyreminder #selfcare
Gossip mongers thrive on drama, insecurity, and power plays. ◾️ Psychologically: this need for relentless gossip mongering usually comes from: Insecurity and Validation – Gossiping can be a way for insecure people to feel powerful or validated. – It’s a temporary boost to their self-esteem, at the cost of others. ————————————- If someone’s constantly talking about their friends behind their backs, chances are, they’ll gossip about you too. Here’s why it’s best to avoid them: ◾️ 1. Trust Issues – If they gossip about their friends, they’ll likely do the same about you. – Real friendships are built on trust, and gossip destroys that foundation. ◾️ 2. Toxicity and Drama – Gossip creates unnecessary drama and breeds a toxic environment. – These people often stir up conflict and enjoy the chaos it creates. ——————- ✨ Protect Your Peace – Avoid people who thrive on negativity—it will only drag you down. – Set boundaries and walk away from conversations that feed into gossip. Real friends respect each other’s privacy and encourage positive communication. Protect your circle, and don’t let gossip get in the way of true, healthy connections. #psychology #mentalhealthmatters #humanmind #smilewithprachi #realtalk #relationshipquotes #relationships #relationshipproblems #ProtectYourPeace #AvoidToxicPeople #RealFriendships
According to research in attachment theory, people who grow up in emotionally unsafe or inconsistent environments often learn that kindness isn’t safe — it can lead to rejection, shame, pain or even humiliation. They internalize early on that being “too nice” could be a trap they set out for themselves. A study by Mikulincer & Shaver (2007) found that individuals with insecure or avoidant attachment styles often struggle to express warmth — not because they don’t feel it, but because their nervous system has linked vulnerability with danger. They were taught: ▪️ Vulnerability makes you a target ▪️ Kindness can be misread or manipulated ▪️ Emotional openness isn’t always safe — sometimes it leads to shame So in adulthood, even simple acts of kindness feel like a threat. Their body tightens, their mind second-guesses: ▶️ “Will I be misunderstood?” ▶️ “Will they assume I want something?” ▶️ “Will I lose control?” And possibly the worst of all, would they misread it to be a creepy romantic interest? What if they shame me? Gossip about me? Think less of me?! ____ That inner resistance isn’t personality — it’s a nervous system response shaped by past pain. And it’s exhausting… to carry warmth you’re afraid to show. If this is you — or someone you love — know this: You’re not “too guarded” or “emotionally unavailable.” You’re someone who learned to survive by dimming their light. But healing is possible. And part of healing is realizing: Being kind isn’t weak. It’s an act of courage. The world doesn’t need less warmth. It needs more people who feel safe enough to share it. And as long as you do it with your boundaries intact, as long as you can be assertive where needed, it can be freedom! — #attachmenttheory #avoidantattachment #emotionalsafety #traumarecovery #nervoussystemhealing #psychologyfacts #healingjourney #selfprotection #vulnerabilityisstrength #mentalhealthawareness #kindnessmatters #innerchildhealing #emotionalintelligence #secureattachment [ attachment theory, avoidant attachment, emotional safety, trauma recovery, nervous system healing, psychology facts, healing journey, self-protection, vulnerability is strength]

Sometimes when a relationship starts to go south, it can leave you wondering if this is someone worth fixing things with. Here’s a simple rule I always apply, and it generally doesn’t fail me. If this person has the emotional maturity for difficult conversations, and if the relationship has just gotten hard or difficult, I will try at least a few times to fix it. However, if they have been intentionally disrespectful (Our of spite especially) then I would let them go and absolutely never look back unless they come to me with a proper apology and I think I can trust them again.
