I just happen to be in “small town America” today, on this national day of protest around the country. And I was absolutely floored seeing the massive turn-out of peaceful protestors of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life come together, as Americans, to stand for what we believe is right. And to stand in solidarity against this administration’s actions against women, veterans, the LGBTQ community, government employees, documented and undocumented immigrants, asylum seekers, etc etc.
The message all over the country is clear: #HANDSOFF
We demand:
— an end to the billionaire takeover and rampant corruption of the Trump administration
— an end to slashing federal funds for Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs working people rely on
— an end to the attacks on immigrants, trans people, and other marginalized communities
