Yola Instagram – #flashbackfriday❤️ to my loved ones showing up for me for my Broadway debut! I’m so lucky to be so well tended, loved and supported, it’s a privilege to live them in return! I can say with my whole chest that this is definitely not always been the case. This era of my life is: the dedication of building my actual life here having crossed that big ole ocean! It’s greatly underrated what it requires to land on a new continent and I think that underestimation is down to how much we hold immigrants in high regard in society. Plus the ocean really makes a difference (ask indigenous folk about these here boarders), so to have so many people in my life that show up just because they care means a whole lot!
