Johanna Griggs Instagram – One of the best parts of being Patron of the @humptydumptyfoundation is getting to travel around Australia with Humpty Founder Paul Francis, visiting Hospitals and Health Centres and seeing the vital and often lifesaving equipment donated by our wonderful Humpty Supporters in action. This past week we headed off on a road trip to Bathurst and Orange Hospitals, where we met with the most incredible, passionate, dedicated Doctors, Nurses and Staff who shared their experiences with us. They were so generous with their knowledge and time. Often, they are working in challenging circumstances but their care for one another, their patients and their local community is second to none. A real thrill for us was meeting Kim Holt in Orange. Her family are phenomenal supporters of Humpty in both the NT, and now in Kim’s hometown in the Central West. She got to hear first hand how the Humidifier and Monitor they’d donated will enhance the way babies and children will be treated in Orange Hospital to give them the best possible health outcomes. A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed us so warmly, and to NSW Health Minister @ryanparkmp for helping making the trip so smooth.
