Kimberley Crossman Instagram – This weekend, my bestie since we were 4 @albie_eaton and I embarked on a magical adventure to the @every_bite_nz workshop on reducing food waste and living more sustainably at the beautiful @fallsretreat 🍂
We learnt so much, laughed endlessly, and even got to sleep in what looked like the perfect little doll’s house.
Did you know nearly 1/3 of all food produced globally is wasted? This workshop really opened our eyes.
Some of my favourite takeaways:
* Shop seasonally
* Save veggie ends to make homemade stock
* Create an “EAT FIRST” shelf in the fridge
* Before each meal, ask: Is this nourishing?
It was such a grounding, inspiring weekend, and the perfect way to connect with each other and the planet.
