Even at the most high-end grocery stores, fruits and veggies — yes, even the organic ones — can be coated in pesticide residue, glyphosate, wax, and grime.
🌿 Farmers markets are usually better… but cross-contamination happens.
Before you bite into that “clean” produce — WASH. IT. WELL.
🌀 I use a vegetable washing machine to loosen the invisible film and pesticide residue.
🧽 Then I follow up with a veggie wash, or a baking soda water soak, or a vinegar rinse, depending on the produce.
You’d be shocked what comes off — even when it looks pristine.
🧬 Glyphosate is sneaky. Organic isn’t invincible. Your health is worth the extra step.
