Roxanne McKee Instagram – Had the most wonderful stay @daffodilhotel Grasmere.
The North of England is home to some of the most impressive landscapes, and the generous helpings of homemade apple pie are a welcome antidote to tired feet. Northern hospitality always comes with a smile, generous helpings, and a cup of tea. It’s not hard to see why Beatrix Potter drew inspiration for Peter Rabbit in this beautiful part of England.
And just a short drive from the serene beauty of Grasmere is Ambleside, a hidden treasure nestled in between lush greenery and mountains, perfect for filming Peter Rabbit!
I hadn’t been to the Lake District before but I’ll definitely be going back.
