One thing I’ve learned is to move through hard moments by embracing both the bitter and the sweet, by bookending the hard with something beautiful. We cannot control what life brings. But when life brings something hard, we can still choose a beautiful act of care: buying yourself flowers, sharing a meal with a friend, sitting with the sunset. On this Earth Day, I’m grateful for the ways the earth holds us, especially when we remember to listen. 🌿🌍 Sicily is place where the land teaches you how to live. Where the rhythm of the sea, the soil, and the seasons shape everything from the food on your plate to the stories you tell. In Sicily, nature isn’t a backdrop. It’s a presence. A teacher. A source of beauty, resilience, and renewal.
