Grief and music. Loss and love. They can exist side by side.
One thing I’ve learned is to move through hard moments by embracing both the bitter and the sweet, by bookending the hard with something beautiful.
We cannot control what life brings. But when life brings something hard, we can still choose a beautiful act of care: buying yourself flowers, sharing a meal with a friend, sitting with the sunset.
