Dozie and Didie, a young happily married couple, are unaware of how much the coronavirus would change the world outside, and their world within. As the world outside is forced to stand still due to the lockdown at the height of the Covid 19 pandemic, their lives gradually spiral out of control and they’re forced to face their deepest fears as a couple.

Will they survive till the end of the lockdown still together, or will they be torn apart forever.?

Lota Chukwu Instagram - One week today, I wrapped principal photography on my first feature film. So happy to be able to do what I love and experience the generosity of friends and friendships. Grateful for the love and ease of doing this with the absolute best people in this business. It was a lot of anxiety and finger biting which resulted in what turned out to be my favorite set ever!!!!! Thank you all for doing this with and for me and @thecowriefilms. Lota Chukwu Instagram - This year has been good, this year has been kind. If you are ever in doubt you can do it, look inwards.

I’m grateful for the people who have been kind to me this year, who have held my hand when I’ve been insecure or in doubt. I really needed the kindness this year, I am really grateful I got it. I’m motivated by the belief in me, especially when I push you people away because the belief do usually big too much sometimes and I just want to go back to being a couch potato. Thank you all. The team I put together this year, thank you for believing in this amateur and trusting in me and my dreams. Thank you for letting me lead you all, and not undermining me in any way (you people know yourselves). This year has been soooo revealing, I’ve learned lessons I didn’t want to learn but I count it all joy.

I remember all the support, I remember all the shoulders and listening ears, I remember the kindness, I remember the belief and words of encouragement. I also remember the negativity, the doubts, the insecurities and all that silly sour tasting nasty emotions but I CHOOSE to focus on the good. Hourly, daily… I choose light.

I just feel grateful and fulfilled and full of joy. Nothing much here. Just some gratitude.

Lota Chukwu Instagram - A few of my favorite meals I made in 2022… didn’t Spend a lot of time cooking this year like I normally do, took even less pictures than I normally would and posted even fewer of those 😂😂 let’s see if 2023 is different. Cooking is still my happy place and one of my favorite ways to unwind but I have found other things that make me equally as happy.

Lota Chukwu Instagram - The other day, on impulse, I added cheese to akara.. today I tried it both ways: the regular way (which was perfectly crunchy on the outside and yummy on the inside), and my new favorite; cheesy akara. Used both mozzarella and cheddar this time, and added basil!!! It. Was. Divine!
