Kailene Falls Instagram – Coffee and Donuts

Last year, I was asked to illustrator for a collaboration between Mister Donut( @misterdonut_jp ) and LEPSIM (@lepsim_official) , an apparel shop in Japan. This was my first time working with an apparel client, and it was tricky because I had to create an artwork that pleased the design office, the apparel brand, and Mister Donut. I created a lot of proposals digitally on my iPad, narrowed down the design, then photographed the actual donuts for reference for the final illustration. This piece features a cup of coffee with their Golden Chocolate and Choco Fashioned donut and is actually one of two illustrations that they commissioned. I’ll be posting the other one in June, so stay tuned!
The shirts were actually released in January, and they sold really well. I’m excited because I’ve been asked to do a second set of illustrations this year as well!

去年、ミスタドーナツさん( @misterdonut_jp )とアパレル会社のLEPSIM (@lepsim_official) さんのコラボで、イラストを描かせていただきました！初めてアパレルのためのイラストを描いて、今回はデザイン会社 LEPSIM MISTER DONUTの担当者それぞれ満足するデザインを作るのが大変だったが、最終的にいいものを作れたと思います。まずは提案の方がアナログではなく、素早く描けて、修正しやすいiPadで描きました。提案の数が多くて、内容を修正してOKが出たら、次はお店で参考写真を撮って、本番イラストを描きました。実は２枚もお願いされて、こちらの一枚目はコーヒー、チョコファッション、そしてフォールデンチョコレートの組み合わせを描きました。
商品は結構評価がよくて、今年も同じコラボで描かせていただくことになりそうですので、とてもお楽しみですね！ | Posted on 20/Apr/2025 18:00:40
