Francis Thomas & Shruti Ramachandran: Writers ✨ Francis Thomas is an advertising Creative Director at Maitri Advertising by day and a prolific screenwriter by night. Francis has written films and web series in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. Shruti Ramachandran has a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Architecture from IAAC Barcelona, a Kerala State Award for Dubbing, the JC Daniel’s award for acting, roles in a dozen films and webseries in three languages in addition to two screenwriting credits to her name. Bye Bye Bypass is her first foray into writing for the stage. Shruti and Francis are frequent collaborators — they have written the “Ilamai Idho Idho” segment of the “Putham Pudhu Kaalai” anthology film on Amazon Prime, directed by Sudha Kongara. In 2024 they wrote ‘Miss Perfect,’ a webseries in Telugu, now streaming on JioHotstar.
