In episode 2, @drmelaniejoy and I have a conversation with the wonderful @lilycole about the importance of nurturing an open dialogue about environmental issues, why animal agriculture is such a controversial topic in the climate change space, and how to choose a cause to focus on when there are so many worthy and important causes in the world. I absolutely loved Lily’s book, it’s really prompted me to slow down and be more considerate in my day to day actions, and has humbled me into listening more intently to others. Always a good practice…

In episode 3, Melanie chats to @michaelgervais — a world-renowned expert on the relationship between the mind and human performance — about how to change the way we think so that we can become more present, find personal empowerment, improve the way we respond to challenges and injustices, and, in turn, create a better world for everyone. This episode really crystallised for me the importance of refining my own personal values and not apologising for them.⁣

In episode 4, the fantastic @thekoreanvegan joins me and Melanie to discuss how she uses storytelling and food to promote empathy as an antidote to division and conflict, and how she has embraced the challenge of embodying her values while honouring her cultural traditions and protecting her bonds with loved ones. She also blew my mind and made me cackle when she revealed the book that changed her life!! 📖 I did not expect that answer…⁣
