That had grown so far from me
As I journeyed thru the fire of motherhood
A portal with no easy definition for gains
I recorded mid breast feeding long after midnight
I crawled into closets and bathrooms to let my tongue pour everything furious from me
Sometimes nothing came.
And when there was a thunder storm of hell yes
It would lift the fatigue
Ever so slightly
Gifting me a moment
Of celebrating my own imprint again
