🚨 BREAKING | Khan Younis Israhell b*mbs civil defence crews and journalists trying to recover bodies who were killed in an airstrike on Nasser Hospital. — During a live broadcast on Al-Ghad TV (media 1), occupation warplanes carried out two successive airstrikes on the reception department of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis. The first strike targeted the fourth floor of the reception building, followed by a second strike as civil defense and ambulance teams rushed to evacuate the wounded and recover the martyrs. The attacks led to the martyrdom of journalist and Reuters photographer Hussam Al-Masri (media 4), Al Jazeera photojournalist Mohammad Salama (media 5), correspondent for AP and The Independent Mariam Abu Daqa (media 6), and journalist Moaz Abu Taha (media 7) after succumbing to his wounds, and the injury of several others, including photojournalist for Reuters, Hatem Omar (media 8). The Ministry Health reported that at least 8 martyrs and numerous injuries resulted from the twin strikes on the hospital. The Civil Defense in Gaza announced that firefighter Imad Abdel Hakim Al-Shaer was martyred and 7 other members of the Khan Younis Civil Defense team were injured while attempting to rescue the wounded and recover the martyrs following the occupation’s strike on the Nasser Medical Complex.

Qanita Sisters. Two years ago, I attended an event whereby it was conducted by notable Islamic scholar , dear @drhaifaayounis . The topic of the event was Women of Paradise. One of them she spoke of was Maryam AS. Daughter of Imran AS and as we all know was the umm to Isa AS. She also had a few nicknames – Tahira (which means pure) and also Qanita , a woman who constantly submits to the obedience and worship of الله swt. Maryam AS was also known as this name as stated in Surah Al-Tahrim (Q66:12). Hence the decision to call ourselves #QanitaSisters was inspired by its meaning. We hope and pray that it may serve as an inspiration to us all to strive to be devoutly obedient as a servant of الله swt , more so because of the ever-testing dunya. Allahumma Aameen.
