To our dearest Yong, ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ today you turn 10 — a whole decade of being our blessing, and our amanah from الله swt. Sometimes we look at you in disbelief, wondering how the years have passed so quickly. It feels like only yesterday you were tiny in our arms (Mummy and Daddy were (still) so obsessed with that dimple of yours), and now here you are — growing, learning, and blossoming beautifully inside out. MasyaAllah Tabarakallah. True to your name, which in Spanish means to light or to shine, you have been a source of Nūr in our lives. And in Arabic, the ‘khayr’ in your name reminds us of softness and goodness, which you show so beautifully with the way you are such a sweet, doting sister to your brothers Yeop and Lang and everyone around you. We also love how you bring so much laughter into our days , you’re such a hoot Yong! — with your comical, animated, and bubbly ways, you remind us to find joy in the simplest moments. In the little things — the way you rush to comfort your brothers when they’re upset, how you always want them involved, and the sparkle in your eyes when you help without being asked. These moments remind us of the goodness الله swt has placed in you. Always remember, my love, that everything you are and everything you have is from الله swt. Stay grateful to Him in times of happiness and in times of challenge, for gratitude will always keep your heart soft and content. We pray that الله swt keeps your heart filled with iman, surrounds you with His protection, and blesses you with endless barakah. May you continue to shine with His Nūr and goodness, bringing light wherever you go, and may you grow to be among the righteous, a comfort to us in this world and a sadaqah jariah for us in the Hereafter. Happy 10th birthday, our precious Yahaira Leanne.

Gaza, Palestine | Sept 17, 2025 ⚠️GRAPHIC CONTENT⚠️ “Two years into this hell, and I have never seen anything like what I’m witnessing now. These days bring the most devastating, heart-shattering injuries; wounds so severe you stand frozen, wondering if even God could save them. We stood helpless, not knowing what to do. I felt this little girl’s final heartbeats with my hands, pulsing through torn flesh. If images of torn and broken children are not enough to stop this madness, then what is? I am ready to sacrifice my life for this cause. I will never stop struggling for my people. But how can l, when what we are facing is nothing but death and evil? Seventeen hours into my exhausting shift, carrying the weight of unbearable stories; families escaping death in the north, only to face more death here, and others arriving with injuries that could not be treated there. I finally lay down to rest my back. But then came another airstrike. Minutes later, the ambulances arrived with the wounded. Among them was this girl. I saw her heart stop beating, and I feel mine will stop soon. My message to the world is: simple: if We are left to burn in this hell alone, then humanity itself has already died. This world is no longer human. And the silence that allowed all of this will haunt you forever.” -ali.gazandoctor

Wake up! Enough is enough! This is what’s happening daily in Gaza! We have to do more than just sharing, we need to go into the street & demand our politician & the leaders to pressure the UN to take action. How many more images of headless babies & children with exposed intestines we need to see before the world will finally stop Israhell?

After the Mekar collection was launch for Merdeka, my babygirl sis @uyainaarshad was muse for the launch the soft twill material – Warisan collection in conjunction with the upcoming Malaysia Day that as we all know falls on the 16th September. The print screams classic and traditional yet fits the modern setting naturally. Get your own to wear this coming Tuesday! Which colour combination do you like? I have a fav already. 🥰 #LisAriani

From one of our followers: Today my students and I met Retal from Gaza. Retal is a 12 years old girl who is displaced from her home since October 9th 2023. She lives with her 5 other siblings who are very young. Retal tells the story of how she no longer goes to school as her school was bombed and how limited food is for her whole family. The kids talked about their favourite colours, food, hobbies and ambitions. Then, as Retal shows around her tent, my students shed tears as they realised how grateful they should’ve been about the life that they have right now. ‘What can we do to help you?’ One of my students asked. And her answer is simple, ‘Tell our story to the world’. Go to @ro.p20 ‘s account and donate to the Chuffed link to help her and her family.
