Every time I stopped, it felt like I was losing time because there was always so much I still had to do to get to what I imagined my destination to be, I almost felt guilty for allowing myself some time off. I’m still learning, but I’ve come to realize the importance of pausing—taking time for myself, being with loved ones, reading a book, just doing nothing sometimes – and focusing more on the journey, not just the destination.
