For the last 12 months, Artists4Ceasefire has called for an immediate, permanent ceasefire, the release of all hostages and delivery of lifesaving aid. We cannot bomb our way to peace.
As we mourn the precious lives killed in a year of catastrophic destruction, we call on those in power to lead with love, not violence, and end the supply of weapons being used to kill children and civilians – mothers, fathers, grandparents.
Leading with love and centering our shared humanity should be the cornerstone of all leadership.
