Today I want to put a spotlight on this beautiful human @the.sofia.sanchez! And her mama! I was lucky enough to meet them at the premiere of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Since then I have been following her from afar on social media and am consistently inspired by what I see. ❤️

Today is World Down Syndrome Day. It’s on March 21, to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (hence the 3rd month) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome. 3️⃣

Thank you Sofia for not just teaching me more about Down Syndrome, but for sharing your life with us, and showing us what it means to be YOU. Which is nothing short of amazing! I can’t wait to see where else life takes you and all the awesome things you will continue to accomplish in your lifetime. 💫
